Anyone have any thoughts as to the sound quality of a store bought CD versus a download from ITunes that you then burn to a CD?

I'm pretty sure everything you download from Itunes is in aac format, which is a lossy compression so the sound quality will not be the same. This may not really matter to you unless you're an audiophile though. I stopped buying anything from Itunes mainly because I didn't care for their restrictive DRM, but that's more of a personal thing. Unless you routinely upgrade your system and/or reinstall windows on a regular basis it shouldn't be an issue.
If you have a choice, get the CD from the store. The sound quality will be better and you won't have to worry about it disappearing down the road if Apple decides you've been sharing it too much with your friends.
