THat is one of my favorite performances ever by them. I posted that in this thread last year or a couple years ago. D:40 years ago this month I went to a concert where the band was touring in support of this new album.

I saw the Who in 89' in Orchard Park, NY. I had a wee bit of fun and woke up on a bench at the Orchard Park Police Dept. Good time!!And then about a week later, saw this band touring for their new album. Yep, Oct./Nov. 71' was pretty damn awesome.

Thanks to a Who roadie, I got introduced to the band Genesis via a bootleg cassette tape (their album Trespass) and it cost me a hit of acid in trade. When I heard "The Knife" I was hooked! LOL! The other thing about a Who concert was the sheer decibel level as my ears literally rang for a week after that show. Now I always wear hearing protection to every concert I go too as between loud music, Led Zepplin, Deep Purple and loud conveyors my hearing is in bad shape.
