I live in the Bay Area. Fall is my favorite time of year for Tahoe
yes. we came up here for years during the off=season. either April-May or October before the snows came. best time in our opinion. rates were low and roads not too bad.

after awhile , we said ,why don't we just move here? glad we did. been here since 96 and there is so much to do and places to go. lot's of Bay Area people sell their homes and pay cash for homes here. Most locals don't like it cause it drives uphousing and cost of living.

we don't care too much. just have to make adjustments since our little town has tripled in population so i go to the stores at 6-7 am and plan around weekend/tourist crowds.

on the positive note our house has gone up over 300% so we daydream about 'Living Alaska" or going somewhere else. probably not since spouse is very ill. we do love it here but like i said we have to plan ahead before going somewhere.

End of Watch was a good flick.

my spouse doesn't like the friend word nor all the violence but i said it's probably what real life is like in south central LA.

We live outside of Reno NV and a cop friend told us ( when asked ) that we really don't wanna know what goes on in the city at night.

Did some supplemental engineering on my daughter's new loft bed after it proved to be very unstable. Amazing how much a few good pine boards cost these days.

Went and visited a local ice fishing contest (over 10,000 entries). Fired up the grill outside and cooked up some steaks. Now I'm stuffed.

Sunday . watching Super Bowl highlites on You-Tube while big fat snowflakes are coming down.

being a Patriots fan I love watching the "Do Your Job" videos about the Patriots. It shows a lot of behind the scenes stuff.
