What would you be doing if not driving for UPS?

I have been involved with the cleanup of a shotgun suicide, and another of a person who drank himself to death.

I would only do that for a living if I was unlucky and desperate.

I am also very much under the impression that it pays alot less than a reasonable person would expect.
I’ve seen the pictures from the job sites when they quote prices.

It’s not too bad. Besides I’m sure it’ll be in demand with Ricky Bob loses his job to the Trump tariffs and decides to cover the American flag above his trailer park bed with his own brains after realizing Elon decimated the social safety net for Americans like him.

At least he’ll die knowing the gays are a little less than him legally.

What’s your personal experience ?
It’s good to know in between posting your tranny porn on here in current events you go throw working class people who made a mistake to the wolves.

Ha !

At their discharge hearings for falsification, unreported accidents, signing for pkgs....ect.

My presentation of their case was simple. "Panel Members.... I will let the grievant explain."

That’s a busy day for a right wing boot licker, having to browse Reddit for tranny porn and go throw working class people to the wolves at panel.

How do you do it?

When I get fired I’ll probably just hop into crime scene clean up for a bit though.

Easy work, light remodeling and sanitation.
Get paid pretty well.
That's true, I worked with a guy for years who did embalming at night after UPS. He eventually left UPS to do it full time in his own business and also started a crime scene clean up company and made bank. He sold the crime scene clean up company for big bucks and whenever one of us had a love one pass away he would always help us out. Unfortunately he passed away about a year ago from a heart attack. RIP John.

Ah. The typical “I’m expected to go to college and I don’t know what to do, so I’ll do this major this” degree. You have acquired more skill and knowledge working at UPS than you did in college. The only thing you left college with was debt and a watered down piece of paper. I dropped out of college to drive. I make way more money doing this then what I would have done had I stuck it out with college. The job isn’t as glamorous, but I never put much stock in work. Never had a dream job or profession. If I got the same pay and benefits scrubbing toilets or cleaning up garbage I’d do that. I look at work like I look at sleep. It needs to be done and I have to set 8 hours aside per day for it. If you can accept that your life will be easier.

So.... you have no experience with the "new" arbitrators or the panel system at all.

Just another loud mouth, purple haired, bull dike.... eh ?

God only knows how many dead-end jobs I would have had in the last almost twenty years if I didn’t work at UPS. I’m blessed, lucky, fortunate and grateful to be where I’m at.

And paid vacation, paid sick time, Union protection, legal representation provided by the Union, etc.
Oh, and the Company pays for your CDL if you decide to go into Feeder, you get a set schedule, paid holidays, opportunities to acquire new skills like learning to drive big vehicles… the list goes on and on if you look at the big picture. No job is perfect but UPS is the closest I’ve found to it.

I know this job wouldn’t be as great as it is without the Teamsters but most of us would have never become Teamsters if it weren’t for UPS. Also, it was the founder Jim Casey who wanted the Company to Unionize.

I’ll shut up now.
