That's a beautiful part of the country, but I've never been there in the snow. When I went there in early June several years ago, I was hoping for some nice cool weather and it was almost 90. But when we went to Mackinac Island early in October this past year, it was very cold and choppy. Weren't even allowed on the deck of the ferry and it didn't take its run under the bridge. The foliage was outstanding though.
