Yes you are correct. Why should a wage earning making 75k yearly pay the same tax as someone making 250k? The old saying goes the rich get richer and the poor get poorer and this will continue if McCain gets in office. Bushenomics is not working with 6.5% unemployment! Employers have no problem exploiting workers and I should worry about having them taxed higher after they exploited as many workers as they can? I don't know what you do for a living but being here on bc most are blue collar workers for the working class and not for the rich so I think you are Trolling here trying to push off your errogant idealogy on middle wage class earners. How much do you make a year? I make 75k if I am lucky so why would I vote for John McCain if he is ownly giving tax breaks to the top percent wage earners, I would be a fool or just plain ignorant?
I will tell you why. You should not punish someone for being successful. I say lets make the successful people pay a lower percentage than the people that are failures. This would be a great incentive to pick your tired self up out of bed and get to work.

Not that it is any of your business but my earnings last year were 113000. I will likely make a bit less than that this year due to being bumped off my route and taking one with fewer hours.

You want higher taxes so the Government can take care of your every need. The problem is you could do a better job than the government does. The even bigger problem I have is you guys do not even have the guts to try and amend the constitution for your government health care programs or retirement programs or education programs or energy programs or farming programs. You just steal from me and I am far from rich. I would like to be wealthy one day and with a little luck and a lot of hard work if the government stays out of my way I will make it. I have turned down much higher paying jobs than UPS and they were all non union. I know I am stupid but I work at UPS because I enjoy my job. I could care less if it were union or not. I feel I will be successful no matter what I do. I do not feel anyone owes me a job and most certainly not the federal government.

You asked why you should vote for McCain. I have no answer to that. I will tell you if you cared about other people you would seek out a candidate that believed in the constitution. You would seek out someone that would kill social security as this will only punish the youth. You would look for someone that would cut all federal money out of the health care system as this only drives up the costs of health care. You would look for a candidate that would eliminate the minimum wage as this only serves to price workers out of the labor market. I can keep going but you get the point. I think. Well since no one does you should seek out someone who believes the constitution exists to limit the government not limit the freedoms of its citizens. That is what I believe and look for in a candidate since I am arrogant I know I am right.

You say employers exploit workers. Why do you not seek employment somewhere that does not exploit or better yet start your own business on the model of non exploitation?
You say Bush tax policies are not working. Why then is B. Hussein saying today that if we are in a recession he would leave the Bush tax cuts in place? Something for you to think about. I am pretty sure you will not come to the right answer but I will give you a chance.
