He served this country because he wanted to not because the government did nor did i tell him...If you followed his post he is for no income tax when income tax paid his way. I have no problem with that. There is no profanity just simple facts in which the tax payers paid for his services and now he wants no income taxes for the rest of the people who would consider a life in the military but now he doesn't want to pay any of his sawbucks back...Sorry but this is insulting to people who paid his way!

Negative old timer. I joined the Army because that was the choice I made. Something you fail to grasp. I chose to give up my time, and freedom to join the Army. In trade for that I got to be part of the best organization in the world. That would be similar to how a free market would work. A willing buyer and seller meet in the market and make an exchange.

You said it in your post that the Gi bill paid for your Higher Education and you are still driving a Truck. Is this beneficial to my tax dollars? If I were to contemplate if this is a good investment in a Macro approach I would have to think about it!

Look, thanks for serving this country but please don't insult the Tax payers who helped you pave your way with very small direct dividends!

Try reading the constitution old timer. It clearly gives the government the power to raise an Army. It is not a very long document just try reading it. It lays out how money was collected before the income tax. I really don't think you have ever heard of the document. It gives the government very limited power. It also reserves all powers not given to the federal government to the states. You need to catch up some so I will take some time before I respond to any farther posts you make. Without any knowledge of this mystical document I speak of it is hard to debate the role of the federal government. Try this link.

I learned and recited this in second grade and saved the tax payers a bundle by not needing a GI bill to learn it. If this is what you learned in higher education, "the preamble" God Bless this Country because we are in trouble?

I believe most were introduced at least the preamble in second grade and all of the Constitution in grade school! What a country...I don't believe we need to go to graduate school on a GI bill to learn it!

What contributed to making me puke is the fact that since you recieved your benefit from the tax payer you feel that you shouldn't reciprocate and contribute to help pay for someone elses GI bill?

When you have someone claiming to totally rid the INCOME tax system that paid his way, that is a problem! If you think this is offensive then you are oblivious to the respect to the working people that paid for his services to fullfull his dream in the military! Tie the tax payers paid his way and now he wants to abolish taxes that continually pay for the military?

Pay back to the military via your income tax dollars now that you can to those that are sacrificing today while you enjoy your freeedom to become wealthy with the help of a tax paid government GI bill you recieved that is all! Pay back......because we can!
