I've always wondered if two cars were to ever mysteriously arrive and park close enough to the sups car to not leave him an out?
This happened on a regular basis during the strike in 1997 when some supervisors took out package cars to deliver the stuck packages (Don't ask me how I know).
Our union BA was a driver in my building at that time. He got in front of a trailer headed for our building and proceeded to drive 2 MPH for an entire mile. I really enjoyed the strike, especially watching the sweat-covered supervisors leaving the building after moving boxes for 12 strait hours. We were all kicking back in lawn chairs enjoying cold cans of free coke our teamster brothers from the bottling plant supplied us with each night when the sups would exit.
