Avon:320-000, JC Penny:322-758, etc., etc.

I worked over eight hours at a rate of $104.43 an hour, I call this day "Green Friday".

Avon here was 199-100. Penney's had a bunch of numbers. I think 240-981 was Haband.

And then, just about peak day, was cheese day. I had a center manager tell me just to airmail all the cheese without even stopping. Good times.

10 hrs worked, nothing over 50lbs all day. Going to do tomorrow for some more easy cash. Glad I maxed out my 401k last month, better putting in while the market is down vs ATH's.

Isn't it strange that we can remember shipper numbers from decades ago?

I remember a bricked-out P-600 full of Swiss Colony, Wisconsin Cheeseman, Claxton Fruitcakes, and so many others. You had to use the dash and floor to sort with. I remember clocking out at eleven and bringing back a hundred one night.

Have you moved to the bay pal number yet? It's such a joy to have your truck pal label 0617 and the pod 617B.

My route is 23A, my golf cart route gets PALed as 23X. It should be loaded Right Rear Floor so I can throw it out the back after I get my air off. They move cars around so they don't use bay numbers in my Hub. Since they use Roswell to test new things to screw up things only more, I'm sure its just a matter of time before we get that also.

Yep, route ID's stay the same when looking at dispatch but the pal labels are being numbered by bay. For example my route may be 89c, but I park in slot 515. The PAL labels will come down with 0515 in them, my pod will be 515B, my trailer at be JLM, but parked at 314, pal labels will be 314.The problem, as you might imagine, is the pod packages get loaded onto the shelves vs in the RDL,RDR because the label looks the same. Even better the scanned doesn't alert them of the problem as they are entering the truck because both 0515 and 515B belong in it. I've even suggested make the letter like X or something not so close to the numbers, apparently it has to do with the bullfrog assignment for smalls.

I love misloads. Driving around for 8 hours or more fixing the preloads mistakes.

I can't believe you all are still using numbers for routes.

My route may be 17F but as far as PAL label it's going to be a name. Like Hawk or King. This cut down on misloads big time when it was implemented.

No commit times, 216 stops, then go help a casual. Punched out around 21:50. Third late night this week.
Way to dip in their deep pockets brother.
Only 140 here which included a few misroutes..... pickups are always minimal.......nice truck wash upon return.....no commit yesterday as well.......11.5+ hours......double time......double time!!
And I'll be returning for a little more candy in a few hours on time and a half.

And I can't help but to mention that I thought about you UPSTATE quite often yesterday taking my much needed piss breaks. But he was fondly in my thoughts as I pushed mud for a solid 10 minutes after that monstrous Turkey Day feast that needed releasing. :)
And why was he in my thoughts.....because unlike him.......I GET PAID for an "ACT OF GOD"!!!! :):)

Had a late start and got 140 stops plus a few pickups. Had an EAM come down the belt at end of sort. I had 20 minutes to get it delivered. Problem is, it takes 30 minutes to get to the business from center. Worked roughly 8.5 hours will probably be over allowed. But who cares. They forced us to work today so I made sure to get my monies worth out of it.

Did you sheet it before leaving the building to make sure that it wasn't late?

I worked as an operator at Ohio Bell right out of high school and I still remember a lot of area codes from back then.
