Yes it is a sanctuary city .
It also rejects violence against women.
And has declared itself a nuclear free zone , only problem being is that some of the universities within Cambridge have had active nuclear programs for decades.
But they do enforce traffic laws concerning bicyclists , issuing around 150 tickets per year.

[h=3]Cambridge official urges funeral parlor, Tsarnaev family to not seek burial plot[/h]
The City Manager of Cambridge issued a statement Sunday urging the funeral director and the family of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, one of the Boston Marathon bombing suspects, to not submit a formal application for a burial permit. City Manager Bob Healy said while Cambridge may be the refuge of bomber number one and bomber number two, he does not think it is the best interest of the city or those laid to rest at the Cambridge Cemetery to execute a cemetery deed for the body of Tamerlan Tsarnav.

LOL,

They had a few people on the radio today saying that 'the government' should pay to have the body shipped to Russia/dumped in the ocean/shot into space, take your pick.

The Guvnor's position is that it's a family matter; MA law is pretty open ended about this legal technicality, i.e. every town must provide space for residents who die within the town, bla, bla, but where did the guy die? Watertown? Boston? Neither one of those towns is going to take the body either! Cambridge won't take him, the wife won't claim him, the Uncle in Russia want's to bring him back to Russia but doesn't have the cash.

The Funeral director at the cemetery that took the body (his first mistake) is basically saying, "Look, everyone deserves a burial, but I'm not shipping the body to Russia without some sort of plan or chain of custody, etc., you just don't do that..that's great no one wants to take the body, and I got people calling me saying, 'dump it in the ocean', but how do you even do that? If that was the plan, the government does s%^t like that, not me, I'm trying to run a business here".

And the city of Worcester, Mass has spent $30,000 on security for the funeral home.
Just who will be picking up this tab ?

[h=1]Smitten teen girls stir up #FreeJahar mania for Boston Marathon bombings suspect[/h]
This love is terrifying.
Thousands of American teen girls are crushing on Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar “Jahar” Tsarnaev, 19 — and leading a social-media movement to exonerate him.
The swooning teens will not accept allegations that the bushy-haired college kid — whom they refer to by his nickname, “Jahar” — and his brother, Tamerlan, 26, killed three and maimed hundreds by setting off bombs at the April 15 race and killed an MIT police officer during the ensuing manhunt.
While some scrawl the hashtag “#FreeJahar” on their hands with markers, an 18-year-old in Topeka, Kansas, is going to the extreme — she wants the Dzhokhar’s words inked on her arm forever.

(CBS News) Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev left a note claiming responsibility for the April 15 attack on the Boston Marathon, reports CBS News senior correspondent John Miller.
Sources tell Miller that Tsarnaev wrote the note in the boat he was hiding in as police pursued him, and as he bled from gunshot wounds sustained in an earlier shootout between police and his older brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev. It reads as part manifesto, part suicide note and part justification for the killing and maiming of innocent civilians.
The note -- scrawled with a marker on the interior wall of the cabin -- said the bombings were retribution for U.S. military action in Afghanistan and Iraq, and called the Boston victims "collateral damage" in the same way Muslims have been in the American-led wars. "When you attack one Muslim, you attack all Muslims," Tsarnaev wrote.
Tsarnaev said he didn't mourn older brother Tamerlan, the other suspect in the bombings, writing that by that point, Tamerlan was a martyr in paradise -- and that he expected to join him there soon.

Boy, not much left at all to "think" about this case now is there. No doubt he'll plead guilty and be done with it.

An unidentified FBI agent shot and killed a man in Orlando, Fla., early Wednesday after questioning him about his link to one of the Boston Marathon bombing suspects.
Dave Couvertier, a special agent and spokesman for the FBI's Tampa field office, told Yahoo News the shooting is under investigation. He identified the man as Ibragim Todashev, a 27-year-old Chechen-born Orlando resident and apparent acquaintance of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, one of the brothers suspected of planning and carrying out the terror attack at last month's Boston Marathon.
Law enforcement officials told the Associated Press that Todashev lunged at the FBI agent with a knife.
The shooting occurred just after midnight at an apartment complex in Orlando. The agent, along with two Massachusetts State Police troopers and other law enforcement personnel, were interviewing Todashev "in connection with the Boston Marathon bombing investigation when a violent confrontation was initiated by the individual," Couvertier said. "An FBI post-shooting incident review team has been dispatched from Washington, D.C., and expected to arrive in Orlando within 24 hours."

Can't wait to see the autopsy report on this one.
According to some sources an FBI agent & a member of the Mass State Police were interviewing him when he lunged at them with a knife.
Right after he admitted to the Waltham triple killing with suspect #1 ( commonly known as speedbump ) .
