Build That Wall!!

Who is going to maintain that wall, and how much is that going to cost? Why is the you Republicans ( and you are ,despite claims to the contrary that you are a libertarian) want to waste taxpayer money on all these big government projects.
What is more cost efficient.
Building the wall by a long shot ... at least ten times less costly than not controlling the invasion from Latin America.

Who cares if Israel’s wall is effective? A wall on our southern border wouldn’t be, no reasonable person thinks it will be. The issues and cost of such a barrier are clear and you have no rebuttal to them beyond Fake News!
So a wall won't work for us, but works elsewhere? Interesting logic you've got going there. Now why don't you admit this is all about future votes? Tipping the advantage in your favor. I believe you were one of the ones, if not the one, who alerted us to jobs disappearing with automation. Tell me again just how we're supposed to support tens millions of people displaced by machines? And yet you want more and more to continue to come in. Any reasonable person can see the huge problems that's going to cause. Doesn't matter, huh? With a clear voting majority in every election your party will have the power. No more of this capitalist exploitation, we'll all be equal. The money to pay for it all? We'll just print more! Why not, any reasonable person can see the beauty of it all. And if those white, racist crackers don't get in line our rainbow coalition will just have to eradicate, ummm, re-educate them.

With illegal immigration costing the country over $100,000,000,000 a year any reasonable person can see that the wall will more than pay for itself keeping more out. And the amazing thing is that if sanctuary cities and States weren't protecting criminals to where we could deport them with ease I think most Americans would be fine with the rest staying and getting legal status of some sort. We aren't going to deport 11 million plus people. But the liberals are trying to show the Hispanic community how much they care and thus we have people who should have been deported still running around committing crime. Exactly how many more Americans must be murdered, raped, robbed, killed by a drunk driver before the interests of our citizens are put first? Or is that being racist, unreasonable?

That number is lower than I've seen on many other sites.

Border Patrol used gas and smoke to keep the invaders from rushing across the border.

Granted this is from 2006 and is just one state.

"The Texas State Comptroller reported in 2006 that the 1.4 million illegal immigrants in Texas added almost $18 billion to the gross state product, and contributed $1.6 billion in state revenue, while costing the state about $1.2 billion in services used.[20]"
Now how much revenue is that wall going to generate?

Any reasonable person can see the numbers you throw out are fictional.

The wall won't pay for itself, just like the tax cuts, more Trump lies.

The key is TEXAS.
Texas don't mess around.
The immigrants that come in have to work unless they live in
Houston, Dallas or Austin ... the liberal :poop:holes in Texas.
I will not speak for Texans but the illegal aliens' behavior coming in there is much different than in CA, IL, NY, etc.

From the same Wiki Article:
Economic impact of illegal immigrants in the United States
The Congressional Budget Office reported in 2007 that "the tax revenues that unauthorized immigrants generate for state and local governments do not offset the total cost of services provided to them" but "in aggregate and over the long term, tax revenues of all types generated by immigrants—both legal and unauthorized—exceed the cost of the services they use." Unauthorized immigrants demand goods and services while an estimated 50 to 75 percent pay taxes. Due to cheaper labor, they contribute to lower prices in the industries where they work, such as agriculture, restaurants, and construction.
The study did nothing to capture and allocate the cost of US citizens displaced in the workplace.

Also from the same article:

In 2013, Robert Rector and Jason Richwine of The Heritage Foundation released a study concluding that as of 2010, the "average unlawful immigrant household" had a net deficit (benefits received minus taxes paid) of $14,387 per household.

My take ... I tend to believe your numbers but that is just one aspect of the uncontrolled illegal alien overall problem.

Texas should build a wall with their own money if they want one then. Big federal government lovers like you don't understand state rights.
