The touring shield sort of does what you might expect. It diverts air off my chest and puts it on my head. Easier to tuck in behind.
I've thought about putting a cafe fairing on mine but in all my experience with windshields they buffet like hell. Unless it's a big touring shield that goes clean over my head.

This is almost exactly like my bike right down to the color combination.


I can look over the top of the windshield and still stay out of the wind.

Yeah I can ride with one like that. I've ridden the Electra Glide before and the wind went clean over my head. But anything sized in between that and an instrument flyscreen tends to turn my helmet into a paint shaker.

My Arai Signet Q handles it fairly well. Just going West through the Columbia Gorge is where I get a headache.

msn today has a story on a 1969 Mach1 with a 428CJ been sitting in basement for last 28 years with only 41k original miles.

I can't post the link but this is amazing.
