Car and Bike Talk

IMHO since Speed became Fox1 racing coverage has gone way downhill. On the upside, Fox1 has some real hotties on camera.

Racing coverage went downhill when they changed from Speed Channel to Speed and started catering to the lowest common denominator and went predominately NASCAR.

At least now there is Velocity, CBS sports and NBC sports to take up the slack. Just now it takes way longer to scour the listings for what to record. Plus recording conflicts.

Annoy a conservative....Think for yourself
Already changed the starter in my ranger for about the 6th time in the 13 years I have had it.

Like clock work about every two years. Always tests good when I take it in. Anyone got any guesses as to why?
If that starter is near an exhaust pipe,I'll bet the solenoid locks up..It takes about the 2 years you mentioned to happen..By the time you take it back the heat sink is gone..just my 2 cents.....

The Interceptor lives! Complete with the switchable supercharger. At the NW Historics some guys had their Australian Falcons on display. The Mad Max Collector's Edition DVD is a great one for Gearheads, especially with the Mad Facts feature activated.

I still get a chuckle out of watching Max fire up the derelict Mack in The Road Warrior. Fires right up from being out of fuel and with a full head of air for the starter to boot!
