What a senseless tragedy. Why in the world was this guy wandering around on a dirt track under a green flag trying to confront Tony for an on-track incident? I have to think that Tony had no idea that Ward was on the track and didn't see him until it was too late. I find it hard to believe that Tony will be behind the wheel today at Watkin's Glen.

I would hope that, if Tony is cleared of any wrongdoing, that he decides that racing at these local dirt tracks is simply not worth it anymore. You are always going to have some local who is going to try to make a name for himself.
Wasn't a green flag. Smh

Just to be clear, I don't work for FedEx. Crazy I know.

Looks like he will.

I already said that he had decided he was going to race today. What I asked was whether this incident would end his dirt track career.

Resident know-it-all.

To be fair, you said you found it hard to believe he would race today. Furthermore, you didn't ask whether it would end his dirt track career, you said you hoped it would.

Snarky is, as snarky does.

Yes, I said that I hoped that it would as it is just not worth it in the end. Do you think that kid would have gone after anyone else that way? No----he knew it was Smoke and that's why he reacted the way that he did.

I am very surprised that he is going to race today.

I still like Blazers better.

Bullet proof running gear but a body that would rust away even worse that a International Scout. I owned 2 of them for a long time (1971 & 1972) . Today a rust free old style Bronco brings BIG bucks. Grease Monkey Garage did one and sold it for like $55,000. I sold my last one that was a total rust bucket for $1500.
