Do you need an air compressor or tire gauge
First the company got over with those BS $1000 bonuses. Enough of us caught on to that and it ended. Thank God! Then the company started with the .75 cent per years raises. Then UPS started dividing the .75 cent raise in twice per year (diminishing the .75 cents) again lowering the actual raise. The raises should be getting bigger!! Not smaller!
News Flash. Taking inflation into account. I'm not sure how long it's been that we've actually received a raise. It's been a Loooooong time!
Will their going to do or try the bonus thing again. I hope they do away with the twice a year raise. If they did a huge bonus plus a raise i might vote yes

You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
PT wages will be addressed in an effort to eliminate the rampant staffing shortages.
Starting pay will be addressed. Which I'm with @HEFFERNAN shouldnt be a contract issue.

The bigger issue is going to be when these 4,5,6 year employees find out that a new hire will make the same as them.

I don't see it happening unless they include a large bonus or a one time $3 an hour raise for current pt.

They were paying up to $300/week in "show up to work" bonuses.
I work at at CACH. New hires received $200 bonus during peak season and currently get $125 bonus till August. Night and Sunrise shift are eligible for the bonus. Must come in 5 days a week to receive bonus.
I see about 30 new hires come in weekly for orientation and we are not properly staffed. I would like to double shift but they don't allow it right now probably because the PT Sups would have nothing to do because they do union work all day.

At a minimum $15/hr and after a year, let's negotiate. Otherwise UPS is just competing against all other low wage jobs.

Which of these other part time low wage jobs allows you to become full time at $36+/hr with free health care and a pension ??

They’re out there, and you don’t have to work like a dog.

That's funny, I am averaging 28 hours a week and there are plenty of double shifting opportunities available at this big ol hub. Play the game with your coworkers about the whereabouts of your pt supervisor. Easy $$$ if they did any work for longer than 2 hours. Subway sandwiches if you catch em for 10 or 20 minutes.

I wonder if the company and Teamsters could agree on a permanent lower raise to the PT inside wage with an attendance bonus structure. Add the bonus into the "advertised" hourly rate. (Make UP TO $18/hr!). Include vacation and sick days, just lose the bonus on days you take off ACNN or with no days left in the bank. If you come to work, what's the problem?

Well no double shift opportunities in my area :( I file grievances on Sups working all the time but it takes at least 6 months to get a check, and it won't include all the grievances you've filed. I still have unpaid grievances from peak 2016.

Everyone should have an attendance bonus then, not just part-timers. In fact if ANYONE should get an attendance bonus it's full-time people, not fly-by-night part-time people.

Mgt is getting 10% pay raises and we are setting for 1.2%.... with new pters making 9.50 an hour with no benefits for a year..... and people want to know why corporations have such a bad stigma attached to them...
Only senior mgmt getting 10% raise. The middle mgmt got less then 3% unless you under 30 years old

35years

Gravy route
$36.19 at 3 percent per year is $41.95 after 5 years.

Over $1.15 raise per year.
----------------------------------------------
$36.19 at 10 percent is $58.28 after 5 years

$4.42 per year average raise.
----------------------------------------
1.2 percent yealds $38.41over 5 years.
-----------------------------------------
Inflation is predicted to grow at 3 percent
$1.15 per year not split.
First raise August 2018, and each year after.
Anything less is a pay cut
