So if the company buys it. Doesn't that mean we can bail from the union? How would that work out. The union would just be a moderator if a member got in serious trouble? They would give little effort to save a job. What do they care

UPS bought us out of the CS pension fund and started a single employer IBT/UPS pension fund. Still hanging with the teamsters I'm afraid.

What do you expect to lose or receive with the upcoming contract.
Try to stay on topic and don't believe anyone who thinks the strike will work, Orion has fixed that and 97 we went on strike the company was crippled; they will not be caught with your pants down again
and they won't with the inflammation of the new technology
but we need not to stick our heads in the sand like we get a 97 regarding the pension and now central states is going belly up in seven years it needs to be fixed
and it may have to be, with the upcoming class of new employees not receiving the current benefits we have
such as high pay into retirement - may be a 401(k) match and a tiered a system what's your thoughts
