china

now i dont actually know bc i havent heard too much analysis about it, i know china has been brought up compared to america regarding their deaths. theres more than just deaths and cases to consider. in all likelihood they are asian countries bc theyve dealt with this before.

1 criteria might be to look at what % their population is of world population and then compare that to their corona deaths as a % of world corona deaths. if their deaths are lower than the first number that may be one indicator.
You do understand that the communists lie about everything and aren't transparent? And that they caused the pandemic to begin with?

if theyre lying then why quote the numbers from them?

you could be right and my guys are wrong, and china sucks at corona they way they suck at growing their economy....or theyre good at minimizing corona cases the way theyre good at growing their economy.

China's lying about their growing economy, so you're correct.

I read, watch and listen other sources. This variant is like a cold.
the cold typically kills how many americans per year?

"The 28-day average case fatality rate in South Africa, the likely origin of the Omicron variant, tumbled in the past six weeks from 8% to 0.2%, barely higher than for the flu. Omicron will assuredly confer new, complementary antibodies on its victims, providing an additional measure of immunity to more lethal Covid variants."

"For the European Union, the U.S. and Latin America, the latest case fatality rate is 0.5%, 0.4% and 0.3%, respectively, down from a high of 4% to 7% during the Delta wave in June. If we add in the legions of asymptomatic, mild and untested cases, the true Omicron mortality is likely around 0.2%, roughly in line with seasonal flu."

so we should expect same numbers from deaths as the seasonal flu right?

and thats assuming this guy knows what hes talking about.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

mass vaccinations wouldve ended it too last i heard, but ppl were too greedy and stupid

"A growing body of preliminary research suggests the Covid vaccines used in most of the world offer almost no defense against becoming infected by the highly contagious Omicron variant."

"The Chinese vaccines Sinopharm and Sinovac — which make up almost half of all shots delivered globally — offer almost zero protection from Omicron infection. The great majority of people in China have received these shots, which are also widely used in low-and middle-income countries such as Mexico and Brazil.

A preliminary effectiveness study in Britain found that the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine showed no ability to stop Omicron infection six months after vaccination. Ninety percent of vaccinated people in India received this shot, under the brand name Covishield; it has also been widely used across much of sub-Saharan Africa, where Covax, the global Covid vaccine program, has distributed 67 million doses of it to 44 countries.

Researchers predict that Russia’s Sputnik vaccine, which is also being used in Africa and Latin America, will show similarly dismal rates of protection against Omicron.

Demand for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine had been surging in Africa, because its single-shot delivery regimen makes it easy to deliver in low-resource settings. But it too has shown a negligible ability to block Omicron infection."
