If I had a dollar for every dog I ran over as a UPS Driver Service Provider. I would have 7 dollars.

They all ran under my tires after I made eye contact, blew my horn and got the big picture.

Hit and killed 10 dogs in the 30 years . Never ran over one that was tied up or fenced in .
If they are running loose and die , its the owners fault and responsibility. Never called in except for the 7 deer and 2 turkeys (both turkeys busted the windshield )

I hit a bird with a 24 footer. Looked in the mirror and saw feathers all over the place. Called it in regardless. Sup said keep moving. As long as they know and tell you how to proceed you are good

I tapped a trash can making a turn in a culdesac once..didn’t even knock it over but called it in...sup came out and took pics...I hit a sign that hangs out into the street called it in and same sup said keep going...oh well

I hit multiple birds a day in the summer on the rural routes. Had one stuck in the grill of my pc one day when I got back to the center and one of the sups just laughed.
