Friend that is not, "deaths have gone down to 3 or 4 a day."
Thanks for the new site ... I was going by the graphs I had saved last Monday and it showed 0 one day and 4 the next.
The GPH/DPH site COVID-19 Status Report Stopped showing the graphs of new cases and deaths.
Although the AJC says their source is the GPH, their graphs look different and deaths are way off.

Ah-Ha!
I found the explanation below in red.
I'll have to look into this deeper to understand whether or whose reports are more accurate.
In essence, the AJC takes the date on which the death was reported rather than when it occurred.
The number of deaths are greatly exaggerated in the AJC numbers and graphs.
On the other side, the GPH numbers and graphs are lower on the report date than actual.

Q: Why do the AJC’s charts look different from DPH's charts?

A: Recently, DPH has added trend charts to their site, “COVID-19 Cases over Time” and “Confirmed COVID Deaths over Time.” In those charts, as new reports come in, DPH allocates them to earlier dates, based on when symptoms developed; tests were taken or reported to the state; or deaths occurred.

Those two time-series charts are always going to show a downward trend because of the lag in when the data is reported. On May 1, for example, the chart of cases showed 21 news cases. Now the chart shows more than 600 for that date.

We believe showing running averages of cases and deaths, along with the day's latest data on new infections and deaths, is the most accurate and clear way to show trends over time. Many other organizations use this visualization.

This is how the AJC determines our daily count of new, confirmed cases: [Today's cumulative DPH case count] - [Yesterday's cumulative DPH case count] = Today's AJC daily count of new cases. We do the same for deaths.

So tell me why they're extending when the science doesn't support it?

What are the guidelines put out BY the Fed for reopening????

How do you accuse the Governors of trying to "hurt" the president by doing what his administration has instructed?

I guess this explains why they took their graphs down ...

Error leads to dip in Georgia’s COVID-19 case count

The Georgia Department of Public Health’s published count of statewide COVID-19 cases declined during the weekend because the agency corrected a data coding error, a spokeswoman said Monday.

The agency mistakenly logged the results of 231 tests that check for COVID-19 antibodies as diagnostic tests, causing them to be coded as confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus, DPH spokeswoman Nancy Nydam said.

The case count ticked down Sunday when the error was corrected. Current confirmed cases stand at about 38,000.

Antibody tests are designed to tell those who are not currently ill whether they were exposed to the virus. Diagnostic tests show whether a person is currently sick.

“We are working diligently to provide the most accurate information, and we apologize for any confusion,” the agency said in a written statement. DPH disclosed the error on its online daily status report, where the mistake originally appeared.

Georgians are watching closely the COVID-19 case count and other measures on DPH’s online status report as they judge whether its safe to resume work and other activities. DPH has come under fire in recent weeks for presenting confusing or incorrect information on its online status report.

Thank you for posting all those articles that show Georgia's numbers on the decline.

It's hilarious you think that's a bad thing. Carry on my young friend!

His administration gives out guidelines, they don't order, and a number of Democrat governors aren't going by the guidelines. To quote Joe Biden, "come on man!"
