You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
Incorrect.
3 million people were told by the government they couldn't go to work so they filed for free money.
I mean I don’t disagree but it’s semantics at this point. Millions upon millions of people are going to be without jobs over the next few months and the economy is gonna suck because of it. The why really doesn’t matter anymore.

my brother managers a YMCA in Nashville Tennessee. He is laid off until mid May. No pay after next week.

For the third time.
Go to work.
It's a very easy fix to the economic problem we are discussing here.

Pull your head from your ass.

Great, tell us all about it.

I’ll be at work on Monday.

What’s the easy fix?

If it’s easy, it should be easy to describe.

Unless you’re just talking sht...shocker

The solution to a rise in unemployment due to a government mandated shutdown is quite simple.

End the shutdown.
Go to work.

It's not complicated, unless you're a demwit.

Not yet.

We’re still climbing the curve.

Send everyone back to work now, that will just prolong the outbreak.

We’re not on top of this, and I’m not even talking Trump, forget that guy, I’m talking reality.

Realistically, we’re 90 days out.

Still climbing the curve...

Louisiana is popping, then Chicago, Los Angeles is next, etc.

Your assertion that we should just go back to work is idiotic.

No, keeping people home from work extends the outbreak, that's the point of the shutdown.

That's the curve you're talking about.

Suggesting shutdowns make the outbreak shorter is idiotic.

You're confused.
The point of the shut down is to slow the spread. Which prolongs it.

Uhhh, ok.

That’s an interesting take on epidemiology.

Bottom line...we need expanded testing before we even know which areas are safe to open.

You’ve heard the phrase, ‘business likes certainty’?

If we don’t know where the virus is, or when it’s cleaned out, how can any responsible small business owner attempt to reopen?

You seem to be suggesting that we just open everything up, which we might be able to do in six weeks, IF we had widespread testing, which we don’t.

The pain of a lockdown is already here...extend it and get our sht together.

The pain of opening up too early means we just extend this nightmare longer and longer.

No, we should be quarantining the old, immunosuppressed, and those with ongoing respiratory issues.

Shutting down the entire country for an indefinite amount of time is idiocy.
