This is my favorite kind of stupidvisor. The by the book when its convenient for them.
You want to be by the book with certain drivers but not all. Oversupervision. That's a slam dunk in a grievance hearing.
Can you please hand me a copy of the 340 methods. I'll do all 340 all day. For 14 hours a day. Bring stops back and file 9.5's.
It's no wonder why you haven't been promoted to center manager.

Not the 6's.
We had one 8 cube like that. Had to watch out for splinters.
The steering wheel was huge.... but, it felt like power steering.
And we still had the little 5's for country routes.
I still remember than ran like a mother...
I guess I'd be more impressed if they just demanded it, instead of getting fake doctors notes.

Who said I wasn't the same with everyone? You're threatening me to do what you're supposed to be doing?Do all the methods, that's your job. But if you don't pull your weight, I'll just make sure you'll get your 8 hours a day while everyone else around you is getting more money than you..Not so funny when you're not getting your usual phat check.

Not at UPS.
You don't have the ability to discipline anyone.
At best.... you could make a suggestion to your superior.
Who in turn, would submit the request to the Labor Dept.
And then, the result would be subject to the grievance procedure.
You're not all that....
That mentality only works on some drivers.

All the drivers in my center tried to test with all the bs. Once they realized I'm always one step ahead of the game, they all fell in line. Now I'm sitting with my feet kicked up about to take a nap in my office while my operation sails smooth across the ocean
