California just screwed all the legal gun owners in the state.
And I mean ALL legal gun owners got screwed.
New laws signed today by Gov. Moonbeam Brown.
#1. All rifles currently requiring a bullet button, will be banned from being sold in California after Jan. 1, 2017.
If you currently own a rifle with a bullet button, you must re-register your rifle as an ASSUALT RIFLE, and you may not sell it, give it away or will it to your children upon your death. The weapon must be turned into the state upon your death.
#2 All ammunition purchases will REQUIRE a Federal background check.
And all sellers of ammunition must now be licensed by the state to sell ammo. The cost of ammo just went through the roof with this one.
#3. Possession of magazines that hold more than 10 rounds is illegal.
You must turn in all magazines that hold 11 or more rounds to the state.
The fact that the liberal Democrats that control California did this in an election year shows that they have no fear of backlash from gun owners or of losing their seats.
Already long lines have been shown on the news around the block at most gun stores.
It should be very interesting to see how this plays out for them.
