not sure what military you served in but I never carried an ar15 . I did carry a m16 and the general opinion amongst us was that there were many finer weapons out there including the AK carried by the Russians.

the below comparison has been making its rounds . the only difference between the two rifles is one "looks" military

okay dude, when one is made to milspec and has selective fire, but otherwise has 99% parts and function commonality, you just look dumb trying to insist they're TOTALLY DIFFERENT GUISE HURRRRR

AK's are not superior anyways, that's a ridiculous assertion and shows what you truly know about both platforms..

the accuracy, function, feel, and use of an AR, M16, M4, whatever variation you want to pick is ridiculously superior to the Mini 14, a :censored2:ty weapon made by a :censored2:ty gun company that only stays in business due to the 10/22

Some people might try to tell you it’s a military weapon.

They might scream military weapon, military weapon, military weapon over and over and over again.

They might put military weapon in all caps.
You might even start to believe that this is a military weapon, but its not.

This is a semi-automatic AR-15.

Facts first.

The military doesn't use AR-15's?

Reminds me of something I read in a New York Trash article today. Never knew Wal-Mart ever sold assault rifles.

The M-16 was modified for military service from the AR-15 .
Having a discussion about this subject on a facebook thread .
The owner of that page thinks that kid from CA who moved to Parkland will be our next president . Have been trying to convince him that he's being played by the far left . It's easier to convince a bridge jumper to come down than change a democrat's mind.

It's nice to see that mass hysteria is alive and doing well in Medford Mass.

MEDFORD — The principal of one of the city’s middle schools is on administrative leave after school officials concluded he may have thrown out a loaded ammunition magazine while cleaning out his office in late December.

Mayor Stephanie M. Burke held a press conference Thursday and said that McGlynn Middle School principal Jake Edwards had been put on paid administrative leave as the city continues to investigate why the discovery of the magazine in the school auditorium on Dec. 29 was not promptly shared with her office and Medford police.

Police Chief Leo Sacco said there were “at least three, maybe four bullets” in the magazine, which was found during school vacation.

Burke said she did not learn of the discovery until last Friday. Police were also kept in the dark until then, the mayor said.

Since no one has seen this alleged magazine , could it have possibly been an nerf or airsoft ?

nowhere special
M-16 is NOT just an AR-15 with an auto sear. There were other modifications to enable it to reliably fire fully automatic. A civilian AR-15 can be (illegally) converted to full auto but has problems (such as excess heat) because it was designed to fire semi auto only.
