I’ll tell you what. When I heard there was an armed officer holding position outside while time during shooting I literally almost became ill. Not joking. Like seriously wanted to vomit. I don’t have words to describe my disappointment

Government cannot be everywhere.
It is not omnipotent and usually does everything it does poorly.
In the good old days, the community was responsible even more than the beat cop.
Furthermore, there has been so many restrictions placed on positions of authority they have lost control.

I know many members of my local law enforcement. I do expect the teacher to protect there students. If you don’t think you can do that. It’s time to retire or resign.

They have as little or less authority to execute their job responsibilities than a delivery driver does.
And all their disciplinary authority has been stripped away.
