Pretty great way to skip the ridiculous progression. All of the newer FT drivers I know were cover drivers and started FT at 85% of Top rate.They are [SUPPOSED] get the normal contractual raises until they hit their progression date. Then they get bumped up to top rate. I did.

I think one big difference is from east coast to west coast is, because we have part time cover drivers we do not hire seasonal drivers. Again, at least here in lower California.We call them casuals.
