This is the end result of your waste. Leaves your house to the treatment plant, gets processed and dumped into a truck that carries it off to a fertilizer plant. To answer the first question on everyones mind, yes, it stinks to high heaven.

We had a trash-to-energy plant here. But then the head-up-ass mayor found some way to shut it down because it was privately owned and didn't bring the city any money. Now our land fill is filling up faster than it has in 20 years...

1 & 2) Had to follow this little critter up the driveway to make the delivery. I think it was sick by the way the tail was dragging and it stumbled as it walked..
A skunk walking in the daylight?
Down here in Texas, if that happens, we know they are sick.
They are nocturnal and if seen in broad daylight our first suspicion is that they are rabid.

Not just in Texas!
Raccoons, too

We had a guy that loved to run over skunks (dead or alive). After his truck was left in the building overnight it was always a treat for the preloaders the next morning. I walked into the building one of those mornings and the a.m. clerk said " take a wiff-- IE is here doing time studies":happy2:
