When my dad was alive it was always his tradition to buy KFC for all us kids and our kids on Memorial Day. After he died we have kept up the tradition. It's the ONLY day of the year we eat it. We noticed this year that not only is it more expensive than last year but the chicken pieces were about half the size they always have been. The side are smaller portions also.

Aldis has excellent steaks at reasonable prices.

I'll have to check them out. I like ribeyes but they've gotten ridiculous. Sirloin isn't cheap either. When I was in Argentina got 2 kilos of high quality steak for about $10. That's 4.4 lbs!
