Cartoons again?
What was Jack London philosophy?

Image result

Jack London was a socialist who lectured and gave speeches urging members of the working class to join together and fight for a better form of government than the one they were living under. His message to the capitalist class of his day was, “No quarter! We want all that you possess.”
Sounds like present day socialist.

Jack was a troubled young man, read his Bio.
What did Jack London do with his money?
By his late 20s, he was the highest-paid writer in the United States. He spent that money on a 1,400-acre property in Glen Ellen that he called Beauty Ranch.
On November 22, 1916, London died on his sleeping porch. He was 40 years old. The cause was uremic poisoning and a fatal shot of morphine—the overdose was likely unintentional.
UTG, sounds like a good role model for you.
London was a great writer and I have read all of his works.
Interestingly enough, I just finished an anthology of his works.
I would bet a dollar to a donut hole you have not.
Cartoons are fun to read, but not a coherent way to express knowledge and experience.
Next, I guess you will find and old 1970's Ziggy cartoon to make a point you can not express yourself.
Keep reading the funny papers.

I was home by 515. There are other guys out past 7-8 every night. But a lot of us are getting done pretty early. I'm cool with it. I had a more than enough 10pmers past two years.

I mean I could have thrown out the anchor and drug my route out until 8 if I wanted to. But it's cold and dark and if rather be home.
I feel sorry for those drivers that have to drag out their day on principle. They must have pitiful lives at home.

You need so many hours per year as a pension credit so you get full credit for a year.
Irish disease bunch of Colonel 5 days and someone paid dead days then all of a sudden you don't have a full credit for your pension year
You don't lose the whole year if you are short. Don't they pro rate the year like give you 10 months credit or something?

Didnt we tell amazon and certain places we were only taking so much volume from them this year and have it planned out, i remember reading something like this
Amazon is planning far more ahead than UPS, in certain places in the country.
When I was in Houston, Tx over the Thanksgiving week I counted 10 Amazon delivery "pkg" cars to every 1 UPS package car.
Habit of mine, being an old retired UPS fart.
On I-10 between Houston and San Antonio near Sealy, Tx they are building a massive distribution center.
Wanted to buy a gift for my friends and ordered it on Amazon.
1 hour later it was delivered, by Amazon. Amazing service.
UPS was founded on being a B2B business and will have to revert back to it, in some form or fashion.
The future success of UPS is not in moving packages, but in all the other technologies and company's they own. or invested in.
I wish the best for all future and present employees, but prepare for the future.
Reminds me when the Rail Road company's decided to no longer provided passenger service, no money in it.
Freight paid the bills and Amtrak was born as a govt' run subsidy.
RR's still make money, Amtrak loses billions of taxpayer dollars yearly.
Not the best analogy, but a fair comparison of moving product for profit.
If you think Amazon is not a growing threat to UPS and its future drivers ,you have another think coming.

They aren’t looking at the big picture…most Zoomers aren’t thinking that far ahead….it comes fast though
They are getting the big picture and looking that far ahead.

They know the Boomers are going to blow it all, like they have every other budgeted item in society.

So why care about pension credit hours? They're never going to receive it anyway.

Kinda like social security??? People have been saying for years that it is going bankrupt and there will be no money left…still seems to be going strong.
