I have one. First revolver I bought. I like it but it never shot nearly as accurately as my other Ruger revolvers.

Some of those Italian replicas are very high quality. Some are junk though. Overall they are probably as well made as later Colts.

Vaqueros are nice but I just can't get past the fact they don't mechanically function the same. That's half the fun and they ruin it.

The 1858 Remington replica is fun to shoot. Cleaning not so much.

Cap and ball revolvers are fun. A pain to load and clean though I agree.

My Ruger Old Army is very accurate. Better sights than your Remington helps though.
