I have a Wyoming Arms 10mm. Its basically a 1911 clone. I was skeptical about it but it had a lifetime guarantee. Worthless when the company went out of business. I did send it back to the factory twice but it was a POS. It would only fire a couple of magazines before it stopped fully locking up. So now its just a pretty paperweight.
My Dad traded off that Firestar after he saw that 40 S&W was bashing up that tiny frame. That and the accuracy thing. Sold it to a police reserve guy as a backup gun.

Mine was all steel. Small but chunky and heavy. It was mostly designed as a backup and not to be fired a lot.

It's not the same. Funny though they did get somebody from the same movie Sgt Hartman was in. Should have gotten Pyle. He knew his M14 well.
