So I'm getting a chainsaw for Xmas. The local mechanic shop is a dealer. I would love to give them my business but only being open m-friend is making it really has to go with them.

Are you talking about servicing the chain saw? Drop off on way to work and pick up during the day or on way home.

Now that there's a contract on the farm the days off will be few and far between. And most of the work will be done on the weekends. I don't feel it's unreasonable to expect a service industry to stay open half a day on Saturday.

If you have a store that is almost never open and has little inventory it is often used to launder money for drug dealers. I had a couple of clothing stores that were like that.
