There's a fine line during the holidays, I do a lot of pickups always have from some big time shippers, it's in the small print of a contracted shipper, not even your DM,center manager, or low level glorified sup will know...Big D knows, and @duckman knows too.

Volume at our hub was lacking today. We worked Saturday to lighten the load on Monday, which otherwise predicted we'd move a little over 200k boxes, and Monday was certainly heavy but we started at 0120. Today we started at 2250 and it was so slow everyone (except sorters...bless them) was sitting down almost half the time. Clocked out at 0800, so good money, but surprised how off their predictions were.

Hope yall have a good day, and hope the last few days of peak aren't too stressful.

We were able to jump service on a few trailers yesterday which really lightened the blow for today. Still heavy, but judging by local sort yesterday, I think tomorrow will be the heavy day.
