So ive been working at ups for 21 years now , I drive the oldest, biggest, stick shift , diesl, p12 pos in existance, my safety ride this year had a kid who wasn't even born when I started working here, let's just say, when it was his "turn to take the wheel" was akward..........
I've got those as well. I wait till some other people are around and tell the guy in front of others that I'll meet you up at the dairy deli tonight to buy you some beer. Don't be late. It get the guys laughing.

When they come up with a petty ding on a safety ride, I just rub my Circle of Honor shoulder patch and ask, "what was that?"
 
True that.
I do not have much use for my old man. He spent 8 years in the Mansfield reformatory. So at a young age 4 to 12 lets just say I got/had to visit him. These visits were five hours. I dreaded them the whole time. They were every two weeks. At the beginning they were terrifying as s time went by I became used to it. I listened to his stories which weren't very appropriate and that of others. As inappropriate as they were and this did mess me up a great deal they gave me an edge in life with certain situations. My dad was able to obtain a psychology degree in there on your dime. That made these stories worse. Life's a roller coaster

God bless you brother, he wouldn't have had you go through that if you couldn't handle it. It made you the man you are today.
