President Biden

At the very least I thought Biden winning would make all the TDSers finally shut the * up about Trump but if anything it's only been worse lately.

No my friend, it’s not about the man, it’s about what the two sides stand for.

Economic and personal freedom, self determination vs. conform or be punished and take what we say you can have and like it

If you disagree with the left, you are shouted down, cancelled, they come after your job, and your freedom.

I can’t support the side who supports the riots, the looting, the “agree with us or else” mob.

In our state we own the oil, so we get some cash for it. Most of it goes into the fund to create more wealth to both fund our state government and create future dividends.
You know who else used state owned oil proceeds? Venezuela. Alaskan government seized the means of oil production. I hope you enjoy your socialist paradise.

Trump never had a lead. He was losing the entire time. The votes were cast, just not counted yet. Trump was a terrible candidate that got shellacked. The GOP should be embarrassed. He lost much worse than Hillary did.

Of course. In 2016 the Left Stream Media didn’t take the President seriously. In 2020 they went to war against him with unimaginably obvious biased reporting. I’m not surprised that they were able to move enough voters.

The President had great results in one term. It’s a shame we won’t see another one. Life goes on and at least the Congress is still divided, perhaps a little more so.

No, I don’t want any free stuff. My original post about “when does the free stuff come” was Sarcasm.

I’m a UPS package car driver.. I work for a living. I have never taken government handouts like food stamps, unemployment, subsidies for housing, etc. I have had periods in my life where my entire net worth was the small amount of cash in my wallet. But I worked my way back.

Do you own any stock? Does that stock pay you dividends? Are those “handouts”?

Do we live in the United States plus Alaska? Alaska doesn't own a monopoly on oil drilling. No other state pays dividends to it's citizens for leasing drilling rights. Face it, you have a unique welfare state up there. Those funds should go to the federal treasury.

You misunderstand. The State doesn't own the resource. The state’s citizens do. Oil revenue are why we pay no state income tax and instead collect a dividend. But the state does not control production, private companies do that. It’s not like Venezuela one tiny little bit.

In Venezuela hyper inflation due to socialism made buying simple necessities nearly impossible and made dogs, cats, and zoo animals fear for their lives. And that’s the system the left thinks is a good idea here.

Why would it go to the federal government? They do not own the oil. We do. And again it’s not a welfare state. I don’t depend on my dividend to survive its less that 1% of my income. But no., it’s the “give your money to Big Brother, we know best” line again.

That’s a strange way to justify the communism you enjoy, pinko.

They pump oil in my state also. Guess I own some of it since I'm a citizen. Gonna grab a bucket and take my share and sell it to Exxon.

Yes he does..

1. Raise taxes on rich (note “rich” is anyone who pays income taxes).
2. Raise unemployment rates especially for minorities to get back to pre Trump era levels.
3. Negate Trump era trade deals that brought jobs back, can’t have that.
4. Wipe out all student loans.. a big “friend You!” to anyone who responsibly paid their loan.
5. Kill the stock market so everyday Americans watch their 401k and IRAs tank. That way people are more beholden to Big Brother to provide our every need, just like in Cuba or North Korea.

Roll up your sleeves Mr. Biden
You seem bitter lol. You better get over it!

Should Biden win fair and square I'll simply sit back and hope his positive campaign promises come true and all the bad ones fail. All that can be done with any president. Nobody has more control over how my life goes than I do and likewise for everyone else. But too many fail to realize that.

How is it communism? Do you know what the word means?

Amazing how quickly the left moves from debating issues on merit to name calling since name calling of course immediate proves your right.
State owned resources paying for the needs of the citizenry. How is it not communism? You’re just putting lipstick on a pig pretending it’s not.

Not bitter so much as concerned for the direction of the country. The two paths seem to lead to two different places. I don’t like the destination the left path leads us to.

It’s good that the left had no bitterness whatsoever in 2016

In communism the oil companies would be state owned and controlled. In Alaska we have BP, Exxon, etc. private entities risking their own money on oil leases to see if they prove out. Those companies take home profits for their business endeavors extracting and paying Alaskans for their oil.

Not communism at all. Night and day,

Yes, agreed. I hope for best outcomes for all of us. But I think healthy skepticism of what the far left wants to impose on us is justified.

As long as we continue to have control over how our own lives go then it’s just a lot of screaming (well, that plus rioting, looting, and burning by the BLM and Antifa mobs).

By "unite" the left means only their approved thoughts will be allowed.
