TOS was all excited awhile ago because we were almost to 13,000.....................it fell all the way back to 12,000.
It still has a way to go........plus, that's not the only indicator. How's the housing market, unemployment, gas prices? GDP, health care premiums? CPI?
AND, a headline on my business page............" home prices fell in 7 out of the 8 zip codes on Irvine, CA."
Maybe you are much better off, but for us, financial things are worse under Obama.

Not as bad as some might think. Remember alot of that stock market money is retirement accounts. Home prices vary. Some places, like around here in the midwest and in Texas didn't have the bubble that California and Florida did so the swings are not so dramatic. The current swings to me seem to be evidence not by the Obama administration, but the simple fact that the country has never been in the fiscal dilema being played out on Capitol hill right now. Nobody knows quite what to think, but they aren't running for the hills to stuff their savings in a mattress either.
