Re: Obamanomics

Gas prices are coming down, unemployment is down, job creation and manufacturing are both up....you're right, no recovery here.
2 numbers came out this mornng....both not good.
Unemployment is down to a "still not acceptable #".......

Quit believing the smoke and mirrors thrown at you. Find out how many less jobs there are right now than there were when O took office.
I'll give you gas prices....mine are down 4 CENTS !!!

Re: Obamabastic !!

Via Politico:
Deval Patrick isn’t much of an attack dog.
And that can’t be making the Obama campaign too happy.
Thursday is the day when the president’s camp is hitting rival Mitt Romney with a full-on assault on his record as Massachusetts governor, complete with a State House press conference starring top Obama political advisor David Axelrod.

So who better to get the party started than Patrick, the current Massachusetts governor, immediate successor to Romney, and someone who is very close to Obama and some of his top campaign aides.
But he could have been a character witness for the defense.

Hitting the Thursday morning TV news shows, Patrick barely managed a few yips at Romney – and was more at home cuddling up to Bain Capital and the Republican nominee.

Patrick’s performance shows the always-dicey role that surrogates play in a campaign. If they’re on message, they can be a potent way to add another credible voice to pound home the campaign’s message. If they’re off-key, as Patrick was Thursday, it gives the opponent a way to point out that even the candidate’s own friends don’t buy into the attack and seriously blunts its effectiveness.

At the ceremony to unveil the Bush's portrait ....................B.O. quickly went to the "I" mode and brought up inheriting a financial mess and killing Bin Ladin.!!! What a jerk!

George W.....said that the hall of portraits begins with a George W. , and for now, ends with a George W.

Laura looked beautiful and spoke also.

Mooch looked great and spoke well also.......both first ladies talked about raising 2 daughters in the white house.

If Bush was so great, why doesn't he show up next to Romney instead of Trump ?
That would really be the icing on the cake, wouldn't it ? !!!!

I think he's a private man now and really doesn't enjoy the spotlight and finally has time to spend with family, especially 2 aging parents. Being on the ranch is his heaven!!

Bush is not in politics anymore in case you haven't noticed. He endorsed Romney .......as did his dad and brother.
What do you expect him to do, sell Romney bobble-head dolls at the state fair?

Investor Warren Buffett and actor George Clooney have logged more face time with President Barack Obama than the person tasked with executing the President’s war on drugs, White House visitor records show.

Drug Enforcement Administration Administrator Michelle M Leonhart has met with Obama at the White House only once, back in June 2011. Buffett meanwhile, has met with Obama at the White House four times since 2010, and Clooney has met with the President twice.

This data comes courtesy of a new searchable database built by the Washington Post that pulls information from data.gov.

Leonhart, who served as acting DEA administrator under President George W. Bush, was renominated to that position by Obama on Feb. 2, 2010. Yet according to White House visitor logs, Leonhart did not meet with the president before or after her nomination. Instead, she met with Vice President Joe Biden’s Chief of Staff Alan Hoffman on April 8, 2010, and again with Sarah Coleman, an Office of National Drug Control Policy staffer, on Feb. 10, 2010.
