From what I've heard, VP picks rarely end up "carrying states" for the nominee. I think he was picked for his depth of foreign policy experience. As for the DNC losing their marbles, who won and who lost? Yeah, thought so.

"O" did pick Joe because he knew that Joe had the foreign experience and he also knew that he, himself, had no such experience.........or any experience to speak of.

Conservatives wanted the White House to stop spending on the health care law until the Supreme Court rules on whether it’s constitutional.

But the administration has forged ahead, spending at least $2.7 billion since oral arguments in the case ended on March 28. That’s more than double the amount that was handed out in the three-month period leading up to the arguments, according to a POLITICO review of funding announcements from the Department of Health and Human Services.

While much — if not all — of this funding was in the pipeline well before March, the timeline for handing out specific funds is not set in stone, which gives the agency leeway over the kinds of dollars it has been handing out.
And the stakes have increased as the date of a Supreme Court ruling approaches, because money that is spent won’t have to be repaid, most likely. But remaining funds will dry up if the court strikes down the law.
The court is expected to announce its decision next week.

The $2.7 billion includes grants and awards that have been handed out since the Supreme Court arguments — including more than $90 million in funds for health insurance cooperatives that HHS announced Friday afternoon.

By contrast, the administration gave out about $1 billion in grants, loans and other awards during the three months before the Supreme Court arguments.

According to a story on this evening's NBC Nightly News, whether Obamacare is repealed or not, several major insurers have indicated that they will keep the following provisions: allow "children" up to the age of 26 to stay on their parents' plan, continue to cover preventive services and remove lifetime caps. They all agreed that they would probably no longer offer coverage to those with preexisting conditions.

And ROMNEY is a mormon, the great grandson of a polygamist pig, with 14 wives, some of them under 18 years old, a fugitive from the law who absconded into mexico to resist the long arm of the law. He and his followers established a polygamist colony in mexico impregnating mexican women and today ROMNEY has 40 something second cousins who are mexicans.

Romney says he loves and respects his great grandfather and grandfather who participated in polygamy and rejected the holy bible and instead pled alliegance to Joe S. THEY ALL hated blacks and did everything they could to keep blacks out of the religion.

If OBAMA shares any traits with his father or grandfather, then ROMNEY is also a DIRTBAG.

My kids are 25 and 28 so this is not an issue and is most likely not an issue for most retirees.
