Don't be too critical of John Roberts.
He simply put the ball back into hands of the American voters and Congress.
Actually a very smart ruling because he hammered the view of Congress that Obamacare was supported by the Commerce clause but used several per-existing rulings to let Obamacare stand but also allowed it to be struck down by a presumed defeat of Obama and control of both houses of Congress.
This sounds like something Slick-Willy would have pulled.
So now that Roberts has led the Republicans to water, will they drink?
This also gives the Republicans a tremendous platform to campaign on.

More mis information from your beloved party. What i find hilarious is the switch in the right wings agenda. First, they talk about "personal responsibility" and repeat this over and over again at campaign stops and on FOX SPEWS through talking heads.
Personal responsibility. Something they say they want for all americans, but here, with the Affordable health care act, the goverment wants to hold americans "personally responsible" for health care that they recieve when they go to a hospital or doctor without healthcare and now YOU WANT TO CLAIM ITS UNFAIR?
Would you rather they simply got healthcare for free while the rest of us pay for it with higher premiums that the providers keep raising to make up for losses?
Personal responsibility is what the TAX/FINE is intended for. If a person makes a decision NOT to pay for coverage, then that person is going to contribute to the fund that will ultimately pay for any healthcare that person needs should they end up in a hospital or doctors office.
This cost will NOT be factored into the premiums of other citizens who have insurance coverage.
Personal responsibility, you asked for it, the supreme court agreed.

Roberts should call Rand Paul and make him submit an essay on the courts power of judicial review.

In its 5-4 decision, the Supreme Court ruled that the so-called individual mandate could be upheld only because it fell within Congress' authority to tax.
However, that is not how the Obama administration originally sold it.
In fact, in a 2009 interview, President Obama adamantly rejected the notion that the penalty for not buying insurance amounted to a tax hike.
"You can't just make up that language and decide that that's called a tax increase," Obama said, scolding his interviewer.
Now that the high court says it is a tax, Republicans say the law will be more unpopular.
And the fight will surely go on.
