Re: Obamanomics

The chart doesn't indicate the cost of those "created" jobs. There are some that cost millions of $$$$ and only amount to one or two jobs. That's a fool's work!!

[h=2]James Carville Explains Why He Is a Democrat[/h]“Ideologies aren’t all that important. What’s important is psychology.
The Democratic constituency is just like a herd of cows. All you have to do is lay out enough silage and they come running. That’s why I became an operative working with Democrats. With Democrats all you have to do is make a lot of noise, lay out the hay, and be ready to use the ole cattle prod in case a few want to bolt the herd.
Put a little fear here and there and you can get people to vote any way you want. "
sounds like a quote Rove and Grover could use in herding republicans. Just need a slightly different flavor of silage.

You do realize that chart cherry picks numbers, right? It also includes students as young as 16.

Chris, the figure you provided is calculated into the chart I posted above the deceiving chart of Jeff Sessions that Moreluck posted. The worst job losses were in 2008, before Obama's policies went into effect.

Re: Obamanomics

More perspective:

Still, a historical analysis of job growth percentages shows that Obama still fares better than some recent presidents. As of July, Obama is averaging +0.84 percent annual job growth in his term. That places him ahead of Bush, who saw +0.51 percent growth in his first term and -0.84 percent in his second term. Obama is also tracking better than George H.W. Bush, who presided over +0.69 percent growth during his one term in the White House.

Tracking better than Bush..congrats. 4.5 million less people working than when Obama took office...and is tracking to be more than that because we are not creating jobs to even keep up with population growth. Not to mention the economy is steadily declining again.

Chart does not show anything after FEB 11 of which has been on a steady decline. So if your chart were to continue until OCT 12 it would be stating a steady decline "After Recovery Act Begins to Impact Economy" So by your chart his policy has impacted the economy in a negative way.
