President Obama!

Via WH Dossier:
President Obama may have to contend with an unexpected inconvenience during his upcoming luxury stay on Martha’s Vineyard: West Nile virus.
According to local reports, West Nile virus has just been detected in mosquitoes collected in the town of West Tisbury, which is a mere two and a half miles up the road from the home in Chilmark where Obama will be staying.

“It’s really important that now we do something to avoid mosquito bites, and to remind folks that West Nile Virus can occur even in as lovely a place as Martha’s Vineyard,” said Catherine Brown of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, according to the Vineyard Gazette.

West Nile virus usually does not pose a serious threat, though people over 50 – like Obama – are at greater risk for a severe infection.

West Nile virus is just the latest hazard being directed at the Obamas’ vacation by Mother Nature. A beach on a pond in Chilmark was closed because it was filled with bacteria, though the swimming ban was lifted just today.

The Obamas arrive on Martha’s Vineyard August 10.

Did you know CNN tracked down a terrorist responsible for the Benghazi attack, but the Obama Administration won't?

Did you know the IRS reportedly shared confidential taxpayer information with the Federal Election Commission to help investigate conservatives?

Did you know a Congressional report found that Attorney General Eric Holder misled Congress when he justified wiretapping a Fox News reporter?

Do these sound like phony scandals to you?

But that's the Obama Administration's spin. They want Congress to stop investigating, to stop doing its job, so the President can advance his agenda.

There is nothing phony about Benghazi. There is nothing phony about IRS abuse. Americans have been murdered. Constitutional rights have been violated.

This is this fool of a presidents legacy.

And gladly pulled the lever for RINO Romney instead of a Marxist too.

Congress Exempts Itself From Obamacare Rate Shock as Americans Face Skyrocketing Premiums

Lawmakers and staff can breathe easy — their health care tab is not going to soar next year.

Anger was already evident as well. Senate Minority Whip John Cornyn (R-Texas) tweeted a link to POLITICO’s
story Thursday night, with the comment: “Outrageous exemption for Congress.”

Via Reason:
That’s a chart compiled by NPR based on House Ways & Means Committee data about groups whose names put them on the IRS “be on the lookout” list while applying for tax-exempt status.

Despite claims that all sorts of groups were targeted, this suggests that the Tea Party and “patriot” groups really took it on the chin.

“The analysis is the closest so far to an objective numerical accounting of how the groups were treated by the IRS,” writes NPR, which also quotes Dems and Reps complaining about bias in the investigation.

Recall that back in May, President Obama – who has not been implicated in the scandal – called the IRS’ behavior “intolerable and inexcusable.” More recently – last week – he called it a “phony scandal.”

Afterthought,

Disgraceful !!!! Obamacare not good enough for politicians that cooked it up ---only good for the uninformed voters!! Very sad ---there are more goodies coming involving Obamacare ---when the young healthy uninformed 27 yr old realizes that they will have to shell out an additional seven to twelve thousand for healthcare !!!

"To take from one, because it is thought that his own industry and that of his fathers has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, —the guarantee to every one of a free exercise of his industry, & the fruits acquired by it.'"[3]

Close enough for government work.

Congress's ObamaCare Exemption

The Affordable Care Act requires Members of Congress and their staffs to participate in its insurance exchanges, in order
to gain first-hand experience with what they're about to impose on their constituents.

The result was a full wig out on Capitol Hill, with Members of both parties fretting about "brain drain" as staff face higher
health-care costs.

Democrats in particular begged the White House for help, claiming the Reid language was
merely an unintentional mistake.

This outrageous ‘carve out’ didn’t get any attention in the news media over the weekend. It’s just being accepted as a done deal.

And even the above editorial is fairly tame, considering.

Though it does mention in passing that this deal is completely illegal.

Just like his employer mandate delay is.

But what does Obama care about obeying the law?

Health Care Law Raises Pressure on Public Unions

Cities and towns across the country are pushing municipal unions to accept cheaper health benefits in
anticipation of a component of the Affordable Care Act that will tax expensive plans starting in 2018.

The so-called Cadillac tax was inserted into the Affordable Care Act at the advice of economists who
argued that expensive health insurance with the employee bearing little cost made people
insensitive to the cost of care.
