and a president that refused to work with the republican majority. Remember when Mitt Romney was running and said he would schedule a meeting every Monday with the leaders of congress to break down the barriers? Obama said it was a good idea and would also do so.
Instead what he does is propose changes and then instead of negotiating with congress he goes on the road and campaigns for those changes.
This by the way is how a community organizer would handle things.
The man is aloof and arrogant and refuses to engage in a vital part of politics which is the back room arm twisting which is essential to the job.
In the early years he was actually more effective because he would send Biden down to congress to work the deal . He then decided to stop doing that and just preach from the mountain top.
OH my gosh, how many times does this clip have to be played before you bumbling people get it that OBAMA didnt get cooperation from the right wing congress in 8 years??
Tell me you understand what you said is untrue. When the senate majority leader claims that the congress top priority is to NOT work with the president as the country fails so he wont win a second term, then you have to understand you dont know what you are talking about.

Exactly. Wanted him to fail to begin with. Its all a mind game. If you are strong enough, its more of a waste of time for them, not the president. After all he will be more successful than anyone on this forum
