It would if you kept your doors shut between stops, and most of the air directed to the cargo area. I would be happy with vents for better circulation in the back.

UPS will never cave on air-conditioning. Its too big of an investment for what little good it would do. Also the temptation to let the trucks idle would be too great.

Then the ongoing cost of more fuel needed to run AC, especially when it all goes out the door every stop.

You don’t know what your talking about. All the AC does not go out the door at every stop.

I think they need to invest in some cargo net like they have in the airforce transport planes. Get something like that on a track as a secondary bulkhead. Keep it open when delivering and secure bulkhead for breaks etc. And some mesh sides with a closable plastic/thing to seal it during rainstorms in the back walls of the truck. Help the back breathe. I honestly think we need heated mirrors moreso than an AC unit. Those mirrors can get unreadable at times. Dangerous
