I think you are trying to say that there is no verse specifically saying that. But that’s just semantics just as the word rapture isn’t stated. The word dinosaur is not found in the Bible either. The fact the words “I ask you to come into my heart” isn’t verbally stated doesn’t mean it doesn’t count, as it can represent the exact meaning as having faith, or believing in and of itself. You’re being a little like @Integrity by not just saying what your point is.

I agree 100% the issue becomes when someone is so belligerent that they call you ignorant or not a Christian because you don’t agree with them on 100% of their doctrine.

As long as he makes me think and go to the scriptures then I still find it productive. It’s extremely useful when debating nonbelievers (atheists, agnostics, etc) which, to me holds a higher standard for me to be on my toes
