There are examples in the Bible of God speaking directly to someone. They didn't have to have a personal relationship with him first.

There’s many forms of communication. Verbal and non verbal just for humans and animals. Can’t even imagine or describe what else past that

Integrity has told us he directly speaks to, and is directly spoken to by God. He rejects a fair bit of the Bible because the Holy Spirit tells him what is right and wrong and if that is in conflict with the Bible then the Bible is wrong. Not a matter of taking him too literal. He is directly in contact with God.
The Apostles also were guided by the Holy Spirit. But that wasn't the limit of their gifts supplied to them by God. But Integrity doesn't have those gifts and he rejects some of the Apostles' writings. So who to believe? I'm going with the men Jesus selected to spread his gospel and establish congregations and guide the early Church in living the Christian life.
