Second Class Drivers

I don’t work at UPS anymore.
I think this will be the end of OT for M-friend drivers. UPS will limit M-friend drivers to 8 hrs and transfer work to the lower paid drivers, assuming they will have no 9.5 protection.

Probably for 9.5 drivers, but I don’t see a driver that wants overtime being forced to give his work away.

Most likely, routes will be collapsed left and right and the remainder will be absolutely slammed; drivers who don’t want OT will be relieved by 22.3 drivers before 9.5 while those who want OT will be working close to 70 hours a week.

At my building

We have dropped in the amount of routes we put out daily over the past 10 years.

The drivers still work 12s but it’s less drivers covering the same amount of area

Considering the city’s we cover have grown by at least 10% per year
