People like me? What’s that supposed to mean? Some of you entitled drivers need to get some perspective. You are the ones who cry about wages more than anyone and you already make doctors wages and you are the definition of unskilled labor. The difference here is that I think what I make is fair even before this raise. What I take offense to is someone making the same as me that has worked here way less. Oh and by the way I just found this forum and would have been here much sooner if I had known it was here. Don’t worry I won’t be leaving anytime soon.

Yes. I make the same as someone that's been working at UPS for 45 years. Suck it up buttercup. You're not special and you still get to use your seniority against them.
Yeah this is what bothers me about PT. They accuse FT of wanting to keep the boot on the neck of anyone below them when they are the worst offenders of the crabs in a bucket mentality.

And yet we’re not crying. If my wages didn’t go up as much because a part timer is going to get more money and with me. Hopefully we get a better quality part timer moving forward. And if you’re not leaving anytime soon, you must not be that upset with the job and what it pays or you could do something about it. That’s exactly why I went full-time.

You can say it all you want but it don't work that way. I bet you tell yourself that you're so smart for not going FT because one day your cap theory will pay off. One day some one up above will say....

"This man has no cap! We will shower him with riches that his 10 years of PT service demands! Bring forth the reward for this man's services Carol! Let us gaze upon his brilliance for seeing our folly of not placing a cap on him!"
There are plenty of reasons people stay part time. For me being an independent contractor I make well more than I could as a full time employee of ups. I find value in the free insurance that is provided for my family of four. That doesn’t mean that I still don’t take offense to my time being meaningless to the company. I am sorry that bothers you.

Lol do you think any of us mean anything to the company give me a break. You’ve stayed part time this whole time you’re happy and maybe for once we happy that new employees are going to make more money and maybe actually stay employed here, stop being so selfish.

You drivers are always crying. You are literally taking issue about my post about pt workers and it doesn’t even have anything to do with you.

Oh and I will do the only thing any of us can do and that is vote no to the contract.
