A nice raise and I’m two days into the week with 14 misloads and 4 hours of OT due to poor load quality. My loaders laughing his way to the bank.
It's crazy this preloader can put every single package in HIN order but dispatch was the most asinine thing I have ever witnessed so far like jumping to the same shelf multiple times during the day while spread out in gaps of multiple hours.

And yet

I am pretty sure they closed that loop hole after the last contract the pt’s voted down but I could be wrong.
Are you talking about the 2/3 rule? yes you’re welcome. I was one of the ones that voted that out. Still doesn’t account for the awful percentage of part-timers, who usually take the time to vote on anything.

People like me? What’s that supposed to mean? Some of you entitled drivers need to get some perspective. You are the ones who cry about wages more than anyone and you already make doctors wages and you are the definition of unskilled labor. The difference here is that I think what I make is fair even before this raise. What I take offense to is someone making the same as me that has worked here way less. Oh and by the way I just found this forum and would have been here much sooner if I had known it was here. Don’t worry I won’t be leaving anytime soon.
I will hold my breath

That'd be a pretty bad chain for one truck. Since the rollout the vast majority of misloads are missed add cuts because they keep running us past driver start time.
We call them missed add-cuts, not really misload and just like I said about the bad dispatcher earlier if you wanted a 22.4 combo to preload then I studied the base route boundaries and loaded packages accordingly, add-cuts be damned unless I knew the physical area street-to-street that was being moved.

UPS has a job posting in my area for Warehouse Worker / Package Handler at $25/hr posted about a month ago. The job posting does not say for what shift. So does this mean if someone who just got hired or attained seniority at this MRA would be making $27.75 come August 1st? Also couldn't the company just pull all MRA across the country right before the TA is ratified pending the outcome of the vote? (I remember something like this happened in 2018). There needs to be better language covering MRA in this agreement like one uniform increase across the board (all shifts; all employees PT & FT) once given can not be taken away & not for one but for all (company discretion;excluding employees in same shift;classification). Also did anyone hear or see anything about vacation, overtime and guaranteed hours improvements?
