GTFOH

In my 30 years here, this is the most lucrative contract we've ever had here at UPS.
I've never seen this much money spread out to everybody at once and probably will never see that again.
It's entitled losers like you that will never be satisfied with ANY contract.

We have the greatest non-skilled union jobs in history and you still want a revolution. SMFH
So again, GTFOH and find a "better" place to work
Well said, I agree 100%

Not to sound judgemental, but it appears many are living in the world of handouts and laziness. Freaking sad.

These PT lunatics have been posting here and Reddit non-stop about their insane demands.
The amount of money and benefits you can make here after this contract is insanely great.
Is UPS a hard place to work for ? yes
Is it a physical job ? yes
You'll never find another job walking out of GED class that can give you what we have right now.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

Sounds like a turnover in the part time workforce is coming. Maybe get some grateful workers instead of whining babies.

I get the concept just fine, I'm not disputing the concept, I'm disputing its application here. You're not a skilled machinist who's created value, you're just a PTer who's pushed boxes. You don't provide anything forty 90-day PTers over 10 years haven't provided. I'm just a driver, I get it, I don't need that pointed out. I'm far from liberal, I just don't value your contribution, and clearly you don't either given that you minimize your position as described by a minimal effort means to insurance. Most business owners only here for that don't give a :censored2: what the next guy makes, they don't even notice. I don't care how long you or anyone has been here as a PTer, you all look the same to me.
You are a funny guy. A contrarian in fact. So what you are saying is that you are going to reject the concept of your coming raise right?Based on what you say? Your claim here is non-skilled workers service has no value because anyone can do your job.Drivers and pt warehouse workers are both by definition non skilled labor.Well considering your raise was ballyhooed as a necessity by the union because of the record profit's posted on the backs/service of the workers and as you have stated service has no value then you don’t deserve a raise at all right. It fact why do we get a paycheck at all if our service doesn’t make the company money or have value. What a dumb response. We are a in a service driven industry. I will agree though any idiot can drop a box off at a door step or load/unload sort a box. The concept you fail to grasp again is this simple fact…EVERYONE WONT DO IT. Because of this simple fact you and I get paid/raises/benefits. Thus the service we produce has a value and the years of doing so also has a value. Do you feel that you should forfeit your place in the vacation biding schedule because Timmy new driver performs the same duties as you do? I mean surely you do the same job so why should you be able to put in vacation before Timmy? Your simple minded definition of service value created should mean you disapprove of such a practice right? I think we both know the truth to what your answer is to that question.

Maybe but not before they vote no to the contract. It seems to me the biggest whiners in all of this was the drivers. I mean the biggest headlines were we want ac in our trucks…We want equal pay between the pt drivers and the regular drivers…Bo freakin hooo.

My god, you’re dumber than a bag of hammers. You got what you were worth, and what the negotiators could negotiate.

If you vote no on this contract, you're an idiot.
We literally got everything "WE ALL" asked for plus they threw in MLKjr day off to keep the same labor conditions in place.
You'll never get or see a better contract than the one you saw yesterday get finalized.

I can't wait to see the vote result. Part-timers are very active in their "whining". Maybe enough of them will vote in the future to boost their pay to 49/hour while bringing down the full-time minorities to minimum/MRA rates.

I fully expect no more than 10% more vote this time than last time. It was like pulling teeth to get them to vote in the strike vote and we were standing right in front of them. Even handing out T-shirts lol they are clueless. And really don’t care.

Listen man again it’s tiresome to try to explain over and over that the monetary value isn’t the issue I have. Try reading what I have actually wrote before going right to the name calling. Do what intelligent people do. Actually read what I wrote agree or disagree then form a counter argument. I will try to articulate this in simple terms so you can understand it. It isn’t about the money. It’s how it’s being distributed between new hires and long term employees.

I’ve read everything your :censored2: has said up to this point. You are not equal where they start in person because you have more seniority than them which is the most important thing a collective bargaining agreement can do not to mention all the insurance payments every week you’ve gotten and your pension credits.

Disagree and I understand why you would see it that way if you are a driver. You guys got everything you wanted. From my perspective I will vote down any contract that devalues years of service because it does have monetary value. Again it isn’t about the money to me. Where I have a problem is how it is being distributed.

Those that work the most, get the most. Fair.

Yes you are correct but it is also not being genuine to say this contract isn’t devaluing my years of service when a guy 90 days off the street is making the same as me. IMO the message is we as the union value a new hire or a somewhat new hire the same as someone who has worked 10 years. No matter how you want to argue it that is a simple truth. Years of service has always had a monetary value and now it has even less with this contract. Again I don’t think I should be paid anymore than what the free market determines is fair. I just can’t vote for a contract that devalues my years of service.

So don’t vote for it. All your whining here changes nothing.

Nah that would be incredible stupid on my part. I’ll just do what I can do and vote no. If it passes I’ll just have to suck it up. Nice response though considering you were probably the first crybaby in line crying about the heat and needing ac in your truck. 😂 Snowflake indeed. Remember you shouldn’t throw stones.
