I imagine the Catholic church has bigger problems to worry about than if cremation should be allowed.
Back when my Uncle Bill died (60's) cremation was never even talked about. Uncle Bill converted to Catholicism to marry my aunt. He insisted he be cremated.

My stepmother, not Catholic, got cremated a couple of years ago. Our family was shocked but she and my dad always went with the most affordable alternative on everything.

Got back from Arizona and a couple of K-1s came in after I filed.
Now I have to pay in/reimburse on Fed and reimburse State.

I forgot about those 2 companies.
Already entered 5 ... I've got to remember them next year!
I hate K-1s!!!
WTH ... those 2 K-1's actually got me some additional money back!
Now, do I tell my wife about the extra thousand?

Shutter the thought,

just surprise her with a nice treat. I'm guessing the best way to fulfill her treat would be to buy yourself something incredible, you are after all the apple of her eye.

I always tell my wife if there is new found money. She is the one in the family that always suggests I get a new truck or motorcycle.
That'll never happen with my wife.
She would give it to her mother who is 85 years old.
We already give her 10 to 15 K a year.
Wifey doesn't spend much on herself but she hates my bike collection and I still drive my 2000 Tundra.
Taking it to a music festival this week.

I actually just put it in the checking account.
