Well you're doing a fabulous job.I just learned how to do it.
O’Brien has said we’re not going past August 1, no exceptionsThat would be up to the negotiation committee
Hopefully listen to conference call tomorrow and we will find out some more informationInteresting
What makes me laugh is that if Hoffa was still in office half this thread would be about how Hoffa's trying to get one over on the membership. In 2018 the strike vote began May 15 and ended June 3
I don't trust anything politicians say until it happens.O’Brien has said we’re not going past August 1, no exceptions
He can go directly to hell. What makes me laugh is that if Hoffa was still in office half this thread would be about how Hoffa's trying to get one over on the membership.

Does a confirmed strike authorization vote, and then a no vote on a contract automatically put in motion a strike?I don't trust anything politicians say until it happens.
We went on strike in 97 and we didn't even vote on the contractDoes a confirmed strike authorization vote, and then a no vote on a contract automatically put in motion a strike?
No.Does a confirmed strike authorization vote, and then a no vote on a contract automatically put in motion a strike?
I got a call from our secretary/treasurer last night asking if I could get conduct a strike vote. They were waiting for guidance from the IBT and this afternoon I was given the lists and schedule of shift voting dates. We have 2 members on the national committee including our S/T.Well it sounds like 1 of two things. Your local is doing as it wants or those plans were made before the instructions from the IBT came out.
They weren’t even close on the issues. We went on strike in 97 and we didn't even vote on the contract
If they are on the national committee they cannot conduct a strike voteI got a call from our secretary/treasurer last night asking if I could get conduct a strike vote. It did extend negotiations a few more days but nothing came out of it.They weren’t even close on the issues.
It’s not looking good. Sean said he won’t extend it one day.It did extend negotiations a few more days but nothing came out of it.
Honestly I think it would be a miracle if we had a contract negotiated before the deadline.
I made this start stocking up on sunblock and beer
I rememberWe went on strike in 97 and we didn't even vote on the contract
Last best offer. Those ass holesI remember
If we don't have a handshake deal by 4th of July then I'll start getting nervousIt’s not looking good. Sean said he won’t extend it one day.
What the hell was his name?Last best offer. Those ass holes
